All participants will be accommodated in the Hotel Catalonia Atocha. The hotel is centrally located, with most points of interest within walking distance:

• Museo del Prado: 9 minutes
• Retiro Park: 16 minutes
• Palacio Real de Madrid: 19 minutes
• Puerta de Toledo Campus, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid: 20 minutes

The center of Madrid is rather compact and can be explored by foot. Another efficient way of getting around the city is the metro. The metro station Antón Martín is within 65m of the hotel. The easiest to get to the hotel from the airport is probably by taxi. Depending on traffic, it takes between 20 and 40 minutes. The fare is a flat rate of 30€. Alternatively, you could take the Airport Express, which costs 5€ and takes you either to Cibeles or to the Atocha Trainstation.
